My wife, Liz, and I raised three daughters who she successfully homeschooled; they are now college graduates, married, and raising their own families. During my 38-year career in the energy sector, I developed deep expertise in electric generation technologies, including hydroelectric (conventional and pumped storage), fossil fuel, solar, wind, and geothermal. I also evaluated innovative systems such as compressed air energy storage (CAES), battery storage, and tidal and wave energy. With an MBA, I leveraged my engineering and leadership skills in key international mergers and acquisitions activities in Australia and South America. Following a successful career, I founded my own consulting firm, providing specialized management services to the industry.
